Farm Jack
It is a jack for off-road use. The lifting height is very high. Common ones are 60 inches and 48 inches. It is a mechanical jack tool that uses the principle of leverage. It has a self-elastic locking device and can be locked in place with holes.
The first purpose:
Repair and rescue-often used with tire topping device (extension device)
When going off-road, if the car is unfortunately stuck in a mud pit, sand, snow or ditch, you can use a farm jack to get out of trouble and save yourself.
Second purpose:
Acting as a manual winch-often used with iron chains and tree holding belts
Farm jack has an inconspicuous widget on the top, and many people don't know what it is for. In fact, this is the key that can be used as a manual winch. This can fix ropes, iron chains, tree-holding belts, etc., and let it act as a manual winch.
- Make sure that the car is not easy to move: pull up the handbrake to stop the car, it is best to use a log or stone wedged under the wheel to ensure that the car will not slip on the road.
- Place it on a firm and stable ground: If the ground is soft or sandy, find a way to add something similar to a base, such as cement blocks, bricks, etc.
- Raise the support at a suitable position up: move the clutch wrench to the "UP" position to keep the cranking handle upright. Grab the handle and lift it up until the nose of farm jack just reaches the supporting point.
- Start shaking and lifting the vehicle: Hold the handle with both hands and carefully shake it up and down. Don't face farm jack. It is better to operate on the side to be safer. When the handle is shaken down, the vehicle will be jacked up. At the same time, observe the vehicle, taking care not to have any sliding or other movement. If you find unstable, please stop immediately.
- Perform rescue, repair and other operations: After you raise the car, remember to fix the handle with the handle clamp in an upright state.
If you want to change tires, don’t just rely on farm jack. First, make sure that the tires have wedged, then padded stones or logs into the bottom of the car, then slowly lower the car and place it on these pads. You can change tires.
- Lower the farm jack to complete the work: First, you need to push the clutch wrench down (pull it to the "DOWN" position). Then, press the handle section by section. Note that when lowering farm jack, due to the gravity of the body, the handle will have an upward force, so hold the handle tightly. Also don't climb the pole facing the monkey, pay attention to safety.
