Daily maintenance and care
Only qualified personnel should perform maintenance work. Before performing any maintenance work, disconnect the power cord and place the power plug within the maintenance personnel's monitoring range. Turn off the gas supply and push the gas switch to the "Off" position. Depress the large cylinder pedal and twist the clamping cylinder control handle to exhaust any remaining compressed air from the machine. To properly operate the wheel changer and extend its service life, regular maintenance and repairs as specified in the manual are essential. Failure to do so will affect the machine's operation and reliability, potentially causing injury to the operator or those nearby.
Note: The wheel changer should be maintained at least monthly.
1. Check the oil level in the lubricator cup. If refilling is necessary, first shut off the air supply, manually remove the cup, and fill it with pressurized SAE 30 mineral oil.
2. Clean all moving parts of the support wheel and lubricate them.
3. Regularly check and tighten all bolts on the connecting parts.
4. Keep the hexagonal vertical shaft or square shaft clean and lubricate them.
5. Check the drive belt tension. If necessary, adjust the adjusting nuts at points A and B downward to tighten the drive belt.
6. Keep the machine and work area clean to prevent dust from entering the moving parts.
7. All surfaces subject to displacement and friction should be lubricated weekly with a lithium-based grease.
8. The user should equip the air compressor with an oil-water separator to reduce the water content of the compressed air passing through the machine.
Safety Operating Procedures
1. Before first use, carefully read the instruction manual to understand the specific features of the machine.
2. Do not operate the machine without understanding its structure, performance, or operating procedures.
3. Do not repair or overhaul the machine while it is in operation.
4. If a serious leak or other abnormality occurs, the machine must be stopped to analyze the cause and eliminate it. Operation with the problem is not permitted.
5. Do not overload the machine or operate it beyond the maximum jaw opening diameter.
6. Electrical equipment must be reliably grounded.
7. Turn off the main power and air supply when the operator leaves the machine.
