There are so many ways to repair tires. Which way is the most reliable?
In the case of driving a tire, most old drivers should encounter it. And then we must repair tires. We can't change the tires when the tires are tied by a nail. It is too wasteful. However, if the nail is very thick, it may not be repaired. Tire experts say that tires with treads and nail holes with a hole diameter greater than 6 mm are not recommended for repair and need to be replaced.
There are four common ways to repair tires.
1.By tire seal string. This is the most primitive way of repairing tires.
We use an awl to plunge from the place where the tires are tied,to expand the wound, if it does not expand, the wound is too small, wWe can't put the strip into it.Then, we put the tier seal strip into the tire wound .Finally, we need to cut off the strip that leaks outside the tire.
2. Cold Patch.
First we have to remove the tires from the car, then,we remove tire from wheel by tire changer. We need to find the tire nailing and polish it, finally,we stick tire patches on tire.
The advantages are more durable, more reliable and less expensive.
The disadvantage is that tire wound part is also fragile,so If a sharp stone hits here, it will easily cause damage.
3.Repairing by Mushroom Nail.
In addition to sticking the patches on the tire, this needle also has to pass through the inside of the tire and cross the outside of the tire and remove the excess. This reliability is very high, but the price is more expensive.
4.This method is not too practical,
because the operation is complicated and it takes too much time.We need to ake the tire patches and let it enter the wound of the tire. After cooling, it is integrated with the tire and has the highest reliability. However, because of the high technical requirements and time-consuming, it is easy to lose the tire if the operation is not good. Therefore, many tire repair shops will not use this way.
Finally, for the tires of general family cars, the method of cold patches is ok, it is the most economical; if the tires are more expensive and relatively new, mushroom nails can be considered.
